Our History
Ronald V. "Bud" Stone founded Stone Real Estate in 1965 with the vision of delivering excellent and innovative service to buyers and sellers. Four years later, "Bud" and his brother, Thomas R. Stone, joined forces to become Stone Bros Real Estate, Inc.
Under the leadership of Craig C. Lewis, President/CEO, we have held on mercilessly to the single-most important tenet of our growth: to know our customers and meet their needs.
In 1989 the affiliation with Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. resulted in the creation of Prudential Stone Real Estate, and finally, in 1994 the company expanded its statewide affiliation to become Prudential California Realty. Our strongest assets are our excellent reputation in the community, our deep commitment to various community, state and national organizations, and our reputation of integrity and trust.
The Prudential California Realty family of companies includes Prudential Relocation (an independent organization that is part of Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services), Guarantee Pacific Mortgage, LLC (an affiliate of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc.), Wolverine Property Management, Sylvan Transaction Services and Prudential Commercial Real Estate (an independently owned and operated member of Prudential Commercial Services).

The Prudential Real Estate Network, with an average selling price of nearly $338,000, has once again scored the highest average sales price for residential property across the nation.
This price is based on transaction sides and sales volume data of the Top 500 independently owned brokers in the U.S. obtained from an analysis of the 2006 Real Trends - Real Fasts Report completed in 2007.
